### How do I know the total cost of my Aspen A-Frame Cabin Kit?
The great news is we offer straightforward pricing:

- **Aspen 101**: $89,000
- **Aspen 102**: $119,000
- **Aspen 103**: $129,000

These prices include the entire kit with no hidden add-ons. You get everything from prefinished beams, walls, ceilings, R40+ insulation, energy-efficient doors and windows, roofing, kitchen cabinets, bath vanities, and custom storage built-ins. Once your **Aspen A-Frame Cabin** is assembled on your foundation, it’s fully dried in and ready for the interior finish-out.

Items not included in the kit are the foundation, electrical and plumbing, HVAC, appliances, flooring, and exterior landings or decks. We can provide a breakdown of additional items and trades you'll need to source, so you can plan your total budget. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

### How long does it take to get my Aspen A-Frame Cabin Kit?
We keep the process simple! The standard timeline is **8-10 weeks**, but there are a few factors to consider:

1. **Permits**: It’s essential to have your building permit issued before your kit arrives. Permit timelines vary, but we can provide your **Permit Plans Package** for submission in about two weeks. If you’re building in an area that doesn’t require permitting, things can move faster.

2. **Production Scheduling**: Locking down a production date is key. Once your production date is set, your cabin kit will be ready for delivery within 6 weeks. Planning ahead to have your foundation in place before the kit arrives is essential. A subcontractor may take up to 3 weeks to complete the foundation, but it’s often faster if you're handling it yourself.

### Can my Aspen A-Frame Cabin really be assembled in 10 days?
Yes! The kit can be assembled in **10 days** with no heavy equipment, with a team of 4 people. You’ll have everything from the A-frame trusses, roof panels, exterior doors, windows, and more, completed and dried in within that time. The remaining custom built-ins and cabinetry will follow after electrical, plumbing, and drywall are in place.

Your total build timeline, including subcontractor work, can range from **60-90 days** depending on how much work is done by third parties.

### Are there any discount opportunities?
We offer **special discount packages** for short-term or long-term rental investors purchasing two or more units at once. The discount amount may vary based on the season and delivery location, so contact us to discuss your specific project.

### What is the payment schedule?
There are three payment points:

1. **Permit Plans Package Payment**: $3,500 ($5,900 for basement foundations) to start engineering and secure your production date.
2. **Pre-production Payment**: 30 days before production begins, a down payment of $39,000 (Aspen 101) or $54,000 (Aspen 103) is due.
3. **Post-Production Payment**: The final balance ($40,900 for Aspen 101 or $55,000 for Aspen 103) is due upon completion of production and prior to shipping.

### Do you offer financing or recommendations for financing?
While we don’t offer in-house financing, there are options available through smaller local or regional banks. Since **Aspen A-Frame Cabins** are considered “real property” (not trailers or RVs), you’ll have access to conventional home loans, FHA, VA, and Rural Development loans.

If these options aren’t suitable for you, we recommend lenders specializing in off-grid or unique property financing. Explore more on our **Financing Information Page**.

### Do I need to hire an architect or engineer?
No need! Our **Permit Plans Package** includes all building plans and foundation details, stamped by a state-licensed engineer. This package covers your needs for permitting, saving you from hiring outside architects or engineers. For more complex building sites, like those on slopes, additional engineering may be necessary, but we’ll walk you through the specifics.

### Can I have exposed beams in my Aspen A-Frame Cabin?
Yes! Your **Aspen A-Frame Cabin** features architecturally designed exposed beams and 20-foot-high hardwood cathedral ceilings for the ultimate cabin living experience. The combination of open floor plans, natural light, and high ceilings creates a bright and airy space that still feels cozy.

### What kind of storage features are included in the floorplan?
Storage is key in downsizing, and we’ve made sure to include highly efficient features throughout the cabin. You’ll enjoy:

- Full-size kitchen with plenty of cabinet and pantry space
- Laundry closet with room for a stackable washer and dryer
- 12+ feet of built-in cabinets in the living room
- A large closet in the loft for hanging clothes, shoes, and more

### What kind of insulation is included in the Aspen A-Frame Cabin Kit?
Your cabin comes with **R40+ high-density foam insulation** pre-installed, along with energy-efficient doors and windows. This creates a highly efficient thermal envelope, which reduces heating and cooling costs and allows for smaller HVAC systems.

### What heating and cooling systems do you recommend?
We recommend a **mini-split AC/heat pump system** due to the cabin's high energy efficiency. Brands like MrCool and Pioneer work exceptionally well for our designs. Mini-split systems are easy to install and highly effective for temperature control.

### Can my Aspen A-Frame Cabin be off-grid?
Absolutely! Thanks to its energy-efficient design, an **off-grid** setup with solar power and a wood-burning stove can keep you comfortable year-round. We provide solar power load calculations and recommendations for your system to make going off-grid a breeze.
